More about me
I currently live in San Francisco. I’m from Massachusetts, and have lived in New York, London, Shanghai, and Beijing.
Most recently, I’ve been a consultant with technology companies strategizing how to productize their various R&D outputs. I’ve worked with engineering and product teams in consumer tech, robotics, crypto, and synthetic biology. I also provide research and content strategy for start-ups, foundations, and artists working in machine learning, semiconductors and accelerated computing, and Chinese tech policy.
I’m a Yenching Scholar, having studied Law at Peking University. I specialized in examining China’s value and supply chains for their semiconductor and AI industries, as well as China’s emerging AI governance regime. I also researched the works of theorists Jiang Shigong and Zhang Qianfan, and read Daoist philosophy extensively.
I received a BA in Political Economy from UC Berkeley.
In my spare time, I create prototypes of speculative applications and experiment with LLMs.
I live a second life as a musician, releasing music here, and working with my friend’s little sister, flowerovlove. I used to work for a nightclub in Shanghai.
